Trevor is a lighting designer based in Seattle, WA. My first steps in the theatre world were made as an actor, and my earnest love for that craft remains the beating heart of my work as a designer. Lighting got its hooks into me when I discovered its ability to simultaneously work the analytical and the whimsical parts of my brain. The push and pull between dramaturgical thinking, logistical preparation, and on-the-spot compositional creativity fascinates me, and only gets more rewarding when the instincts and passions of collaborators enter the mix.

I received my MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Washington in June, 2020.
